My friend Sophie giving me her best 'down the barrel' look at the VCA party last night which brought together the film school (which myself and Soph are in), the arts school, the drama school and the music school together for a fun evening.

I felt like I was in fame. So much cool stuff going on around me. So many talented people around!!

This was shot on a friend's f/ 1.4 50mm Sigma lens on my Canon 5D mark ii which he let me borrow for the night.

Considering the room was virtually pitch black and it was only candlelit in certain areas, I think the quality of this image holds up quite nicely. Sure, its a little grainy, but this lens works extremely well in low light!

I think I might buy this lens now
